Summary
The 1st
International Symposium on Trustworthy AI and Public Safety Infrastructure
(ISTA-PSI 2026) will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 1–2, 2026.
Recent
advances in artificial intelligence, sensor networks, and digital
infrastructure are transforming the way societies manage safety, health, and
public systems. At the same time, these technologies raise important challenges
related to privacy protection, accountability, and governance.
ISTA-PSI
2026 provides an interdisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners to
discuss emerging technologies and governance frameworks for trustworthy AI
and public safety infrastructures in increasingly sensor-dense societies.
The
symposium welcomes contributions from engineering, computer science,
healthcare, social sciences, and policy studies.
Several
invited keynote speakers from leading universities and research
institutions will present their latest work.
Scope
The
scope of ISTA-PSI 2026 covers interdisciplinary research related to trustworthy
artificial intelligence and public safety infrastructures in modern
technology-driven societies.
The
symposium particularly focuses on emerging technological and governance
frameworks required in sensor-dense environments, where AI systems
increasingly interact with public space, health systems, and social
infrastructures.

The
symposium welcomes contributions from engineering, computer science,
healthcare, social sciences, and policy studies, encouraging

trustworthy, and socially responsible infrastructures.
Contributions
addressing interdisciplinary perspectives connecting AI technologies and
societal systems are particularly encouraged.

Opportunity
Participants
who wish to publish a revised and extended version of their work are
welcome to submit to the following journals.
If
accepted, publication is free of charge (APC
waived) and the 1st review decision is typically
notified within about two weeks.
Early publication before the symposium may also be possible.
