Summary

The 1st International Symposium on Trustworthy AI and Public Safety Infrastructure (ISTA-PSI 2026) will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 1–2, 2026.

Recent advances in artificial intelligence, sensor networks, and digital infrastructure are transforming the way societies manage safety, health, and public systems. At the same time, these technologies raise important challenges related to privacy protection, accountability, and governance.

ISTA-PSI 2026 provides an interdisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss emerging technologies and governance frameworks for trustworthy AI and public safety infrastructures in increasingly sensor-dense societies.

The symposium welcomes contributions from engineering, computer science, healthcare, social sciences, and policy studies.

Several invited keynote speakers from leading universities and research institutions will present their latest work.

Scope

The scope of ISTA-PSI 2026 covers interdisciplinary research related to trustworthy artificial intelligence and public safety infrastructures in modern technology-driven societies.

The symposium particularly focuses on emerging technological and governance frameworks required in sensor-dense environments, where AI systems increasingly interact with public space, health systems, and social infrastructures.

Relevant topics include, but are not limited to:

Artificial Intelligence and Trust

AI in Public Systems

Privacy and Data Governance

Health, Pandemic, and Social Systems

Technology and Society

The symposium welcomes contributions from engineering, computer science, healthcare, social sciences, and policy studies, encouraging interdisciplinary discussion on how emerging technologies can support safe, trustworthy, and socially responsible infrastructures.

Contributions addressing interdisciplinary perspectives connecting AI technologies and societal systems are particularly encouraged.
